Graphic Designing Training courses in Lahore
Graphic design is a profession, an applied art and an
academic discipline whose activity consists in the design of visual
communication designed to convey specific messages to social groups with
specific goals. Graphic design is an interdisciplinary branch of design and
visual arts. His practice involves creativity, innovation and lateral thinking
using manual or digital tools where it is customary to use text and graphics to
communicate visually.
Graphic Artist
The role of the graphic artist in the communication process
is the coder or interpreter of the message. They work on interpreting, sorting
and presenting visual messages. Graphic design typically uses the aesthetics of
typography and the compositional arrangement of text, ornamentation, and imagery
to express thoughts, feelings, and attitudes beyond what language itself
conveys. Design work can be based on a customer's request, a request that is
finally established linguistically, either orally or in writing, that is, that
graphic design transforms a linguistic message into a graphic expression.
Communication
Graphic design has as a field of application various fields
of knowledge focused on any system of visual communication. It is used, for
example, in advertising strategies, or it is also used in the world of aviation
or space exploration. In this sense, in some countries graphic design is
related because it is only associated with the production of sketches and
drawings, which is incorrect, because visual communication is a small part of a
huge range of types and classes where it can be applied.
Technologies
With origins in antiquity and the Middle Ages, graphic
design as an applied art was initially associated with the boom in the rise of
printing in Europe in the 15th century and the growth of consumer culture in
the Industrial Revolution. From there it developed as a separate profession in
the West, closely associated with advertising in the 19th century and its
development allowed for its consolidation in the 20th century. Due to today's
rapid and massive growth in the exchange of information, the demand for skilled
designers is greater than ever, especially due to the development of new
technologies and the need to pay attention to human factors that are beyond the
competence of the engineers who develop them.
Advanced Design
The undoubtedly high standard of intelligence that prevails
among printers is a guarantee that, with the elementary principles of design at
their fingertips, many of them will grow in knowledge and develop into
specialists in graphic design and decoration. Ten years later, the 1917–1918
California School of Arts and Crafts course catalog advertised a course called
Graphic Design and Lettering, replacing a course called Advanced Design and
Lettering. Both classes were taught by Frederick Meyer.
Visual communication
Both in its long history and in the relatively recent
explosion of visual communication in the 20th and 21st centuries, the
distinction between advertising, art, graphic design and fine art has
disappeared. They share many elements, theories, principles, practices,
languages, and sometimes the same benefactor or client. In advertising, the
ultimate goal is to sell goods and services. In Graphic design, "the
essence is to give order to information, form to ideas, expression and feeling
to artifacts that document the human experience.
